A design team is working to create a replacement academic wing of the building, plus a reconstructed office including a secure entrance, a new STEM lab, and a new media center.
The site will also have redesigned parking for improved traffic flow, including a new bus loop.
Students will remain in the current facility during construction of the new wing. Once the new wing is completed, students will move into that area, allowing the previous wing to be removed.
The construction is expected to begin in the spring of 2020 and conclude in the fall of 2021.
Webber’s group discussed one of the new extended learning areas and the patio outside of that area. In addition, the traffic flow for pick up and drop off was explained and discussed as with the specifics about the renovated kitchen. (Sept. 25 Update)
